If you want to visit any Sea beach in the world you may choice Cox's Bazar at first.Because it is not only the most attractive tourist spots but also the longest beach in the world.Cox's Bazar stands beside the bay of Bengal in the South Eastern Bangladesh.It is attractive tourist place and health resort. IT is 120 km(approx.) long sea beach.It is the tourist capital of Bangladesh.Cox's Bazar is connected with Chittagong by road,sea and air.In the British period Captain Hiram Cox was appointed as the superintendent of Palonki(today's Cox's Bazar). The name Cox's Bazar originated from his name.
Every year many foreign and local peoples come here as a tourist from many parts of the world like Britain,America,Japan,Korea,Nepal,India and Pakistan.There is no records kept by Bangladesh Porjotan Corporation that how many people come here as a tourist per year.But an AFP report indicate that in the winter season there can be 10,000 available room in the beach area.But Cox's Bazar sea beach is crowed almost through out the year.In the winter if booking is not made earlier it is hard to get any room in the hotels.Most of the people like to come here in the winter season because sea stay clam in this season.Cox's Bazar is also a better place for those people who are really adventurous and want to enjoy the wildness and madness of the sea.Those people can cone here in the mid April to August.Sea keeps it's wildness in this time. Near the beach two Five stars hotels,BPC motels and many private hotels are available.
In the Cox's Bazar rare conch shells,colorful Pagodas,Buddhist temples
and tribes are seen.Here you will also have delightful seafood.The most
attractive thing of Cox's Bazar is ,you will be able to bathe and swim
in it's warm shark free water.It's sandy beach will also offer you the opportunities for Sun-bathing.
Cox's Bazar is most famous for its beautiful sandy sea beach and the sun set.It has several attractions:
1)Laboni Beach:Labonei Beach of Cox's Bazar is considered as the main beach due to the fact it is closest to the town.Hundreds of small shops are selling beach accessories here.
2)Himchari Beach:About 18km south of cox's Bazar along the sea beach Himchari is located.It is a suitable place for film shooting and picnic.For its water fall this picnic spot is famous for.Journey to Himchari is very attractive because the road to Himchari runs by the open sea on one side and hills on the other side.Christmas tree is the another attraction of Himchari.
3)Enani Beach: Enani Beach is s white sandy beach which is located Ukhia Thana about 35km south of Cox's Bazar.For it's Golden sand this beach is famous.It's shark free water is Ideal for swimming and sea bathing.Most Tourist like this Enani Beach for relaxing because it is free from the crowd of tourist which is usually seen at the Laboni Beach.
